Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

Publication Ethics

The following terms represent the essential ethical elements of publication for AMJS, which are mainly based on the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). These principles should be strictly taken into account by all parties involved in the publication process.

Editors' Responsibilities

Editors must ensure a fair, double-blind peer review of all articles submitted for publication. They will strive to prevent any potential conflict of interest between authors and the editorial or review personnel. Editors will also ensure that all information related to submitted manuscripts is kept strictly confidential before publishing. The Editor-in-Chief will coordinate the overall workflow of the editorial team.

Confidentiality

The information contained in the submitted manuscripts is treated with a high degree of confidentiality. It will not be disclosed to anyone outside the concerned parties involved in the evaluation and publication process, namely the author(s), the designated reviewers, the handling editor(s), and the administrative staff of the journal.

Conflicts of Interest

It is strictly prohibited for the Editor-in-Chief or any member of the editorial board to use any data, ideas, or information stated in unpublished manuscripts for their own scientific research, unless they have obtained explicit written permission from the original author(s) of the work.

Publication Malpractice

AMJS is an electronic, peer-reviewed international journal committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. To provide our readers with a journal of the highest quality, we state the following principles regarding malpractice:

  • Retraction and Removal: All articles not complying with these standards will be removed or retracted from the publication if any form of malpractice is discovered at any time, even after official publication.

  • Rigorous Screening: AMJS checks all papers through a double-blind peer-review process, ensuring that both reviewers and authors remain entirely unaware of each other's identities.

  • Plagiarism and Fabrication: We systematically check for plagiarism and research fabrication. AMJS reserves the right to use advanced plagiarism-detection software to screen submitted papers at any stage.

  • Data Integrity: Any form of falsification (manipulation of existing research data, tables, or images) or the improper/unethical use of animals in research constitutes a direct violation.

  • Reporting Misconduct: Following the professional code of conduct, the editorial board will officially report any cases of suspected plagiarism, data manipulation, or duplicate publishing to the relevant institutions.
