الملخص

Haemosuccus Pancreaticus is a very rare and potentially life-threatening cause of upper Gastrointestinal bleeding. To date, around 150 cases of haemosuccus pancreaticus have been reported in the medical literature since it was first described.  It is extremely difficult to diagnose endoscopically because of the intermittent nature of the bleeding from the pancreatic duct via the ampula of Vater into the duodenum. It is usually a complication of pancreatitis and pancreatic pseudocyst.  However, I would like to report a rare presentation of haemosuccus pancreaticus in a 94-year-old female patient secondary to pancreatic cancer.
